UPDATED: After posting my original review, Crown reached out and acknowledged that my experience was not what they want for their customers and they went above and beyond to make it right. They came and picked up my vehicle, serviced it at no cost and returned it back to me within a few short hours. I bought my Highlander from Crown Toyota brand new in 2017 (and just paid it off last month🥳) At the time I traded in my Toyota Camry, that I also bought from Crown Toyota (despite never really bring impressed or totally satisfied with their service - I just love Toyotas!). I have always had Crown service my Highlander too. So I took it in today and left it nearly all day in order to have my blinker switch replaced. I would have really been impressed if they would have serviced my vehicle (since when I scheduled the original appointment, I said it needed some other service and the maintenance required lite is clearly on). But whatever. It’s fine. But it would’ve been REALLY cool if they could have at least put air in my freaking low tire! And what’s with a $30 shop charge on top of the labor? Is that “The Crown Difference”? I give them a at best.

I was looking nationally for a Rav4 Adventure. A friend advised I contact Crown Toyota in Lawrence after her great experiences. Let me tell you ! She was spot on! I have attached the business card of Colton Wiley at Crown Toyota in Lawrence. He is amazing ! I ended up purchasing a vehicle elsewhere just due to availability. However, I felt compelled to write this review because Colton spent a tremendous amount of time and phone calls assisting me in finding the right vehicle at the right price and with the right history. He went above and beyond eventhough he was not guaranteed a commission or sale. If you ever pursue a purchase from Crown Toyota you should reach out to Colton!! He genuinely cares about finding the right car for your needs! Such a great person and Salesman! Thank you Colton for all your help!!

Thank you so much David W. For making my trade in on a Toyota 4 runner fun, painless, easy, flawless trade. David was easy going, gave great information on what I was buying, & answered all my questions. Fun part was how patient he was with me as I drove a couple 4runners to be able to listen to them & really testing out their turning capabilities & handling. Thanks to Stephanie Smith my recent car buying experience at Crown Toyota couldn’t have been better!! Stephanie was professional, knowledgeable, and fun to work with! She even came in on her day off to help me get the car I wanted before someone beat me to it!!! The whole process was surprisingly simple and smooth. What a wonderful experience. I drove to Lawrence from Overland Park Ks just to buy my car from Stephanie. She went out of her way to help me. I had to wait for the insurance company to total out my 2022 Toyota Camry. Which she never pressured me about. When I changed my mind--she found me the car I wanted. I got delayed the evening I was going to pick up my car. When we called her & told her we would be there about closing time. She said she would wait for me. I ended up arriving 5 minutes before closing. She greeted us with that friendly personality she has & never rushed me through the process. She spent so much time with me & even programed my cell phone to the new car. I would send everyone I know to buy a car from Stephanie. She is the best. So, go to Lawrence Toyota & ask for Stephanie. We bought our second vehicle from the Crown auto group this past weekend. Last time we bought a Volkswagen ID.4, and this time it was a Toyota Sienna. Van Thompson was our salesman both times and was able to work with us on both the Volkswagen and Toyota purchases. Van gave us fair warning about the wait time for new Siennas, but we fortunately did not need it immediately last Fall when we put in the reservation. Van was great about communicating progress and helping us secure an allocation this summer. The pricing was fair and upfront. The purchase process was easy, and Van was great about helping me get familiar with Toyota service and providing a tour of all the features the Sienna has. I can highly recommend working with Van as well as the Crown dealerships.

We had a great experience while using Crown recently to purchase a new vehicle. Stephanie Smith answered all our questions, walked us through the sales process, and didn’t pressure us at all. Plus, she was really fun to work with. My only negative was that the process of reviewing all of the warranty packages was a little overwhelming, but a necessary evil of the car-buying process. I was super impressed with this team-they literally sat in our new car with us to show us how to use all of the features. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
